what do we do
52nd Street Productions specializes in end to end music and audio production, from concept to final master. Our work is split between composing music and designing original soundscapes for film and video, and collaborating with artists in the writing and production of original songs. We’ve had a wide range of experiences in music and sound, with backgrounds that include writing, producing, and performing in genres such as pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, and jazz, as well as composing and arranging for strings and full orchestra.
We love to collaborate with artists and directors to help bring their projects to life. Whether we are composing for a film, writing songs, or producing a record, the goal is always to make music that is memorable and unique, with attention to detail and quality.
Some of our past and current collaborators include Zendaya, Jake Miller, Blake Lewis, The.Wav: Gregory Stutzer, Nick Rosen, Nikki Sixx, National Lampoon, Primary Wave/BMG producer Jon Redwine, UMG artist Anton Ewald, BMG composer Andrew Joslyn, Elm City/EMI artists MIGGS, LA Guns bassist Kelly Nickels, Vitamin Records, Macy Gray producer Joe Solo, singer James Munoz of The Bled, director Gerrin Tramis of Spikeadillo, Elliot Bryant (Photographer/Biojexphoto), Eric Lopez (Young Justice / Star Wars Rebels), and many others.

who we are
ROB WASILAUSKI
As I developed my skills in music I've been lucky to wear quite a few hats, including film and trailer composer, pop songwriter/producer, sound designer, string arranger, and the list goes on. I started my musical pursuits in Pennsylvania and studied music at Temple University in Philadelphia. My gravitation has always tilted towards groove and melody, I guess that Philly Soul rang true with me. When we work with artists I like collaborating on melody and lyrics to ensure that there is a solid foundation before getting into production. In addition, I’ve performed as a horn player (trombone) and double as the 52nd Street post-production specialist when we put on our film scoring hats.
Beyond the terrific artists/studios Mark and I have collaborated with, I’ve also edited over 20 albums of music for Songs To Your Eyes Ltd, provider of music for Sony Pictures, ABC, NBC, CBS, and many others. In addition, I’ve scored films recently for Think Dreamer Productions and Lockbox Entertainment (winning Best Original Score at the Action on Film Festival for my score for "The Man That I Was"), and I've teamed up with artists/producers like Dr Dre/DPG Associate Emanual Dean and Universal/Blackground artist Try Cashius.
My greatest asset is likely my drive to go the extra mile to get the job done right, after all, who has time to sleep when there’s music to make!
Hope to talk to you soon!
Rob
MARK RODRIGUEZ
Hello, I'm Mark. Composer, Orchestrator, 'Pianoman.' I've been involved in music my entire life. No really, I was privileged to be born into a family of artists and musicians. My childhood involved training with an extended family and friends who are world class musicians, one of which was an accomplished classical & baroque chamber violinist known to me as mom. At 4 years old, I began classical piano studies, and in the years to follow I gravitated towards learning other styles of music, branching out into composition, theory & orchestration. A lifetime of training culminated in the launch of my musical career when I was in High School. I wrote an orchestral arrangement of Billy Joel's Scenes From An Italian Restaurant which caught the attention of a music label A&R representative.
I've worked in music with artists and on films professionally for about 12 years and counting. The latter half as a part of 52nd Street Productions, founded with none other than Rob Wasilauski, which has allowed us to work on a wide range of musical genres and collaborate with creative and imaginative artists, musicians, creative film directors and producers. In 2012 I was honored to be nominated as Best Music Director by the NAACP Theater Image Awards for my work on "Rockin' In The Ages."
I look forward to helping your vision come to life musically, and hope to collaborate soon!
Mark

"My band Miggs first used Mark and 52nd Street Productions to compose an orchestral arrangement for our song "Moving On". We gave him creative control, and I can honestly say it brought the song to another level. Whenever I need a creative, honest opinion on a song or project, I know to call on him and his group to provide an amazing and fresh outlook for whatever the task at hand. Can't wait to work more with them in the future."
